I see a lot of Republicans still complaining about President Trump pulling some of our troops out of harm's way in Turkey/Syria. Are we really supposed to go to war against Turkey? Will they vote for that?
It would be insane for us to go to war inTurkey.

(CNN)It’s no secret that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sees his country as the pre-eminent Muslim power in the Middle East. He regards his vision of political Islam as competing with that of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He frequently accuses the United States of trying to belittle his country, and ruminates about a “greater Turkey.”
But does Erdogan believe that Turkey has the right or need to acquire nuclear weapons to cement its status? Last month the Turkish leader suggested as much, saying that “some countries have missiles with nuclear warheads, not one or two. But we can’t have them. This, I cannot accept.” He went on to single out Israel, saying: “We have Israel nearby, almost as neighbors. They scare others by possessing these. No one can touch them.”

You know the answer to that question as well as the rest of us. No only no, but hell no. It's easier to criticize than to lead, as you personally take no heat for your non decision. Thus you are free to criticize the one who does.
President Trump should demand that Congress pass a resolution calling for the expulsion of Turkey from NATO.
That just might shut them up.

We need to abandon Incirlik Air Base and remove the nukes as we leave.

Since we already have 50 nukes there, it should be quick and devastating.

Absolutely. And kick Turkey out of NATO. Hell, we should also leave NATO, but that's another subject. The reasons for Turkey joining NATO no longer exist. They are now the enemy within. Turkey will never be allowed to join the EU and the country itself is only getting more and more radicalized. Time for a new Iron Curtain, this time between Turkey and Europe.
