I used to hunt deer with a WWII rifle as a teenager. “A MAN’s” rifle gets pretty damn heavy when you have to tote it around the mountainside all day. While I HAVE rifles that will shoot over 600 yards there are very few occasions IMHO when you are ever going to HAVE to do that.
