How Stephen King Predicted Trump's Rise Decades Ago
Author Stephen King predicted the rise of Trump 40 years ago — but he says the reality is scarier than anything he’s written.
In US news, Stephen King sat down with NowThis to talk about President Trump and the eerie similarities between Donald Trump and the Stephen King Dead Zone character 'Greg Stillson.' Dead Zone is a novel King wrote in 1979, it features a a politician Greg Stillson, Donald Trump like in many ways. The Greg Stillson Trump similarities include his outlandish behavior and rise to power that is similar to the rise of Trump and the rise of Trumpism. But according to Stephen King, Donald Trump in reality is even scarier than what he wrote. Stephen King adaptations are extremely popular in movies and TV these days, and he continues to write books like The Shining sequel of sorts Doctor Sleep.

I assume King has dementia as he forgets what he wrote. Just posting this because I keep seeing this stupid video constantly posted on leftist sites. Trump is not Stillson, Hillary is, Trump PREVENTED Stillson. BTW for those who have no idea what he is talking about, years ago King wrote a book called "The Dead zone" about a guy who after coming out of a coma could predict someones future by shaking their hand, and he shakes the hand of this political candidate Greg Stillson and he foresees that Stillson is another war mongering Hitler type who brings about nuclear armageddon. So now these lefties are putting King on a pedestal as this modern day soothsayer "OMG he was exactly right about Trump" even though Trump resembles NOTHING about what Stillson is.

What’s crazy about this is one of the main themes of this book and movie is “If you could go back in time before Hitler came into power would you kill him?” and here is King basically giving wackos the go ahead to compare Trump to Hitler. This guy is an utter piece of sh*t
