In America one can do that if not too fussy and in an area of many markets. Yet with hot dogs still as low as about $1.00 lb. (in some places) and pasta for the same, then with other low-cost foods plus surplus one can live on less than $5. day, even better if one has a garden. But

I use my green houses to extend the seasons, grow food for myself and to make money.

The money I make is mostly from leftists, some who know my political leanings but are brainwashed into paying ridiculous prices for organic produce.
