It is weird. But all the people who worked for him in earlier careers seemed to have loved him. Maybe because they don’t like his pressure to perform? Don’t like the threat of their own corruption and crimes being exposed? Don’t want the fedgov gravy train derailed? It seems like all those who wind up hating him are prima donnas.

We hear all about the malcontents — maybe the loyalists are many and keep their mouths shut?

Good points. The whole thing is odd. The generals are the most unfortunate. They don’t need money. They already have prestige. Just strange. Bolton I always couldn’t stand even when FREEPERS were slobbering over themselves about him. There always something I didn’t trust about him.
