The massacre happened in Uruapan, in the western Mexican state of Michoacan, on Monday, according to the states attorney generals office.
Four people walked into the amusement arcade, asked questions of some patrons and began firing with military-grade weapons, the attorney generals office said in a statement.
The attackers were apparently searching for specific targets, but then opened fire indiscriminately on customers, the Associated Press reported.

Authorities said they had located 65 ballistic elements that matched a 9mm caliber weapon.Maybe knowledgeable FReepers can explain that? And also what "military-grade weapons" are?

I didn’t know arcade game guns were real.
That sounds dangerous.

For the press, a rubber band with a paper clip is a military grade weapon.

Maybe knowledgeable FReepers can explain that? And also what "military-grade weapons" are? In Mexico you cannot own "military" caliber weapons. In a handgun, the largest automatic chambering you can legally own is .380 ACP.

H&K MP5 could fit the bill, as would a bevy of other subs and pistolas.
I assume a gang wanted to convey: “Nice arcade. Be a shame if something happened because you didn’t pay us.”
