Harrison Ford isn’t hanging up his fedora anytime soon.
The actor, 77, is returning to his Indiana Jones character in an upcoming fifth installment of the film, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy confirmed to BBC News while on the BAFTA Awards red carpet on Sunday.
“We’re working away, getting the script where we want it to be and then we’ll be ready to go,” Kennedy said.
Asked if Ford might reprise his role, Kennedy said he would.
“Harrison Ford will be involved, yeah,” she said. “It’s not a reboot; it’s a continuation.”
Kennedy added, “He can’t wait.”

If that bitch is involved, Indy is going to get woke. Bad enough she completely detroyed Star Wars. She is a franchise cancer, but Harrison Ford is getting up there.
I just wish they would go back to the original format where Indy would rescue the great religious relics like the lost ark of the covenant or the Holy Grail. If I were making an Indiana Jones movie, I would have Indy go after the most holy relics of all; the furnature that Jesus made as a carpenter. And I would call it “Raiders of the Lost China Hutch!” It wouldnt be an exciting movie, but it would be funny to watch a 80 year old man try to hide a China Hutch from the NAZIS.

Hollywood needs to die and be reborn.
Indiana Jones ended with him riding off with the sunset with pop after discovering the holy grail. Indy does NOT have an illegitimate son named “Mutt” and did not survive being nuked by an a-bomb by hiding in a fridge, or meet space aliens. All of that is bad fan fiction that Short Round dreamed up one day. END OF STORY!
That last film was just a bad dream after too much chili for supper. He’ll wake up in the 1970’s saving relics in a war zone.

Let Chris Pratt or Bradley Cooper be the new Jones, and let James Cameron direct it. This franchise is a gold mine yet Hollywood has only made 1 picture of it since 1989. This could have been, in terms of a movie franchise, what James Bond is now.
I hope he isn’t flying in it.
