“TunnelBear” (my paid VPN service) gives you 500mb free per month...enough for an occasional user (you don’t need to VPN all the time, I don’t).

Is Express VPN the one that Rush endorses?
If you use a free vpn for other than a trial you’re a moron.
Did I miss something?
I use IPVanish. No caps. 7% speed hit both up and down and an extra 10ms in ping for the encryption on a 100 mbit up/down link with 5ms ping to the backbone. Costing me just shy of $4 a month. 10 devices. Have had one hiccup in the last 6 months with them where speeds dropped to 1/2 of my capability for about 2 hours. All my traffic goes over VPN including cell data. Very satisfied with them and their performance. As a bonus they don’t do any logging.
Free VPN’s make $ by selling your data like your ISP makes $ selling your data. Using a free VPN is just plain dumb.
Sounds good...I have been happy with TunnelBear...they don’t log or sell data either...they aren’t “free” in that they only give you 50mb free...one can burn thru that pretty fast. More of a “try it before you buy it” deal. And they are super easy for VPN noobs to setup on desktops and iOS/Android.

Same with IPVanish. IOS, Android (inc. firetv), Windows and mac are no brainers to install and connect. My main systems run Linux and even setup on that is easy as pie. I run a nifty little script that pings their servers closest to me and connects to the one with the lowest latency. Even my piHole (Raspberry pi) DNS/Add blocking network server connects through IPVanish, but that took a little bit of config. Not sure of my data usage but I literally blow through an order of magnitude more than 50mb before breakfast every day.
Thanks for the info. on “IPVanish”...if I need to ditch TunnelBear I’ll check it out (I will compare price too...always on the lookout for “less expensive”). ;-)
Normally IPVanish is one of the expensive ones but there are coupon codes out there that make it one of the cheapest.
