The Office’s John Krasinski Starts the “Good News” Network
Chicks on the Right ^ | March 30, 2020 | By Mary R

So, when I saw that one of my favorite actor’s John Krasinski is starting his news network during the coronavirus lockdown, I had to check it out. The network is called, “Some Good News”. It was sweet, and all the good that was promised was there.

This video has everything you need, and I applaud him for making this in a time where most celebrities seem to have lost their minds. Stars can be the worst in our society. So, it is refreshing to have a celebrity that showcases positivity instead of bashing the president or hoping conservatives get coronavirus.

Please watch it and enjoy it.

He seems like a good guy, a regular good adult... Not a Hollywood weirdo!

Was his Amazon show as Jack Ryan any good?

It’s not going to be all practical jokes played on Rainn Wilson, is it?

Still is. I binge-watched Season 2, now have to wait another 9 months. I just wish the seasons were more than 6 episodes long.

There was an actual news program back in the 1980s called Good News. It failed miserably.

He was good in 13 Hours...

At least he seems to stay quiet about politics.

John Krasinski is OK and on the level. He starred in “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” A very fine movie! I have never seen John Krasinski or his wife tweeting garbage about Trump.

I am sure that many Hollywood lefties view him with suspicion.

I just saw both of them last night in the movie “A Quiet Place”. Can’t wait for the sequel.

He looks and sounds like a normal guy and has a friendly face. Apparently deeply devoted to his wife and children. I don’t remember with particularity but I seem to remember loopy comments in the past. I suppose he might be about as good as we get from The run of the mill Hollywood types

I've noted over the years that the main stream news media, the big networks and the local news, do not represent the rural areas, small towns, etc. Just look their on-air sets.

Note the backdrops they routinely use. When they do the news, interviews etc, it's always a big downtown area behind them in the backdrop. In live shots, often they'll set the cameras slightly out of focus to make the big city lights softer, fuzzier and more pleasant looking. When in reality, down on the ground, these cities are over crowded, jammed with traffic, nasty, filthy and dirty, not to mention dangerous with lots of crime.

Bottom line is, it's clear, the main stream media does not represent rural America, smaller towns etc.

“Was his Amazon show as Jack Ryan any good?”

Amazon Prime had two seasons of Krasinski as Jack Ryan. They were both an 8 out 10 series. Far more watchable than movies coming out of Hollywood. Not the best of the best but watchable and entertaining.

I am not boycotting Hollywood movies. I just cannot watch them without getting bored and thinking they are ridiculous. With sup-par acting too. Not convincing at all.

I liked “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and this is about it in recent years. I went to an actual physical movie theater to see it which I rarely do.

Both seasons of Jack Ryan are worth the time and you don’t feel dirty like after watching Tiger Kings.

In Season 1, it was French elitists that radicalized the Muslim terrorist vs. the usual American Imperialism, so that was a pleasant surprise.
