SN4 passed cryo proof!
Thanks for the heads up Monty!

Incidentally, I went out this evening to take a 2nd look at the Moon-Venus near conjunction (dusk, clear skies, VERY pretty) and was rewarded by the rather spectacular sight of 60 SpaceX Starlink satellites going over in a line, “winking out” one by one as they passed into the Earth’s shadow. VERY cool!
Vid from Netherlands a couple days ago (but no “winking out”, and closer spacing) :

Starlink is another game changer. I’m glad to see SpaceX moving forward so far. They also just launched the most used rocket in US history, the latest Falcon 9.
i’d feel better about SpaceX if not for the pothead.
That “Musk” be good news???
They passed by last month and had lots of people freaking out lol.
I believe that was a previous launch. But I’d missed that, and this latest one also, until now.
I freaked out a little too - not “UFO’ish” as in little green men, just didn’t know what it was. I briefly thought it was maybe a military experiment of some sort? Definitely had never seen anything quite like it. But my wife looked it up on the web. ;-)
That was overblown. On the actual interview he says he doesn’t like it and he just sucked about the tiniest bit in, didn’t inhale, and blew it back out.
I hate pot as much as anyone and I’ll give him a pass on that one.
It’s too bad you didn’t create SpaceX instead.
Glad you caught it. Its very cool indeed.
Heres the post about it from a local meteorologist in my area .

Thanks for the thread. Now they need to strap some engines on to that fuel tank.
Musk didn’t seem too confident yesterday. He said they had to rig together a solution for the thrust puck that will be redesigned for future iterations.
The plan is to install and static fire an engine in the next week.

Sounds like the next rocket will get three engines which is what’s needed for a flying test. The good news is they are already building the next rocket, and it only takes them a couple of weeks to complete.

Correction. They plan on doing a hop test with the current rocket using only one engine.
WooT
Good stuff. Thanks for the post.
