Crazy footage has emerged showing a monkey riding-up on a motorcycle and trying to snatch a toddler. Warning: Distressing content.

Monkey is on a chain. Someone is trying to snatch a child with the monkey as the hook.
You can see the monkey being dragged while dragging the child.
The toddler must have done something to that poor monkey. ;-)
Just kidding. What a bizarre thing to happen.

I was listening to Nick DiPaolo (not only not safe for work, barely safe to listen to alone in your car...which makes it even more hilarious) and he was talking about this, I nearly spit my drink...

Would a Monkey snatch a child if it weren't trained for this action? Probably not.
Did the monkey return to retrieve the motorcycle?
I couldn’t determine where this took place, but a comment on that Twitter account said this:
“If you look closely, you can see the monkey is attached to a rope and someone is pulling that rope. In Thailand this method is being used for stealing children and selling their organs.”
Some South Asian countries are now overrun with Monkeys.
Many times, the local laws and customs prevent anyone from purposely killing or harming these native animals.
They are overrun now, mainly because of that gosh darned virus that has stopped most tourism. The Monkeys are used to receiving treats and sweets right now.
They ‘Monkey around’ but there is no one to entertain who has any extra food. Some areas of Thailand are crowded with hungry, greedy aggressive Monkeys. Not nice. Not fun.
So many questions...my first question was “Where the Hell did the monkey get that motorbike?”
