Some South Asian countries are now overrun with Monkeys.
Many times, the local laws and customs prevent anyone from purposely killing or harming these native animals.
They are overrun now, mainly because of that gosh darned virus that has stopped most tourism. The Monkeys are used to receiving treats and sweets right now.
They ‘Monkey around’ but there is no one to entertain who has any extra food. Some areas of Thailand are crowded with hungry, greedy aggressive Monkeys. Not nice. Not fun.
So because there’s no longer any payoff for monkeying around, the monkeys had no choice but to get recruited for child snatching?..... Let’s hope there’s still some incentive for horses to continue horsing around, or this could get really ugly!
