I have very fond memories of crawling through the evening paper, pleading with my dad to read me something from “Song of the South,” complete with sound effects.

Like everything else,Disney was dying before the “crisis”. Crisis is the ultimate “get out of”.... card.
I have a CD copy of “Song of the South” that I bought (through the mail) from France. It is a very sweet story that features Uncle Remus. I watch every now and then and celebrate my enjoyment of it to Rev. Jackson (or it you are not from Chicago like I am) the man that marched down State Street in a tutu.
That is a shame. Who will pay for ABDNC News?

The company is far too left now and rancid with PC to release that even if it would save them. Maybe if they were family oriented as Walt originally made them, they would be in less trouble. I avoid them always now.

Just watched a youtube video (maybe accurate, maybe no) but it was saying Disney may end up having to eat the live action Mulan remake. They’e afraid to release it in the US because of backlash, and with US/China relations souring, it looks like a China release won’t happen anytime soon.
The Star Wars Holiday Special, which featured Chewbacca living on Endor with Ewoks, was simply bad. We are talking like when they list all the movies Robert Redford has been in, even acknowledging the existence of Teds, but will still leave Ishtar off of the list bad.

As for Lucas, well, he will deign to make money from pretty much anything. Yes, he sold it to Disney, and still gripes about the way they do things, but that’s him griping about them ... and the SW:HS is something he has passed on making money from.
...Disney might try to make money from the SW:HS .. after editing in some faggotry and other PC nonsense, because it doesn’t suck nearly enough to be a Disney Star Wars product as is.
