rumor at this point, but completely believable: Rumor has it that city considering doubling water, garbage, city sticker and neighborhood parking permit fees. This on top of much higher tax levy on all home values.

They have been told that about 1/2 of the canceled conventions will not be booking in the city any longer. They have found better less costly facilities and much better weather. But no worries the city will make up the lost revenues by their new taxing policies. Budget cuts, head count cuts, furloughs or buyouts were never discussed at the round table.

First shoe to fall about early July provided that things are beginning to open up by then. If not delayed to early Fall. No way you say, just wait these are Democrats with no conscience I am talking about. If rumors only 1/2 true it is still a disaster in the making.

[Groot] wont be happy with her inner circle when she reads this. Again, rumor. But we're know people in the convention industry and they are not confident that anything is going to be "normal" over the next three years minimum.

The people will revolt. whether they vote demtard or not. Demtards don’t want to pay all their money to a giant govt machine while they are out of worm and can’t get their usual perks.

You have to take into account the “sneak across the lake fees” charged by small craft operators from Missouri or Michigan, or “sneak across the river” fees charged in Cairo.

I predicted the Lipinski loss before all the votes came in: mosesdapoet to PBRCat 3/17 12:12:26 AM
Those who live in Chicago may have already voted at their local public library. In the 3rd Congressional district looks like Lipinski will lose because of redistricting. Which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd in a district that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway Wards which were reliable Ted’s father supporters but since nost had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistrcted and assigned to Gutieriez’s district.
What the in name only Democratic Party has been doing in gerrymandering remapping has been singling out areas of various districts where it is dominated by a minority and create a single district out of it which not only disrupts those districts affected of getting civic services needs but pits one group against the other. An example of this is in what Chicago did here;

CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT AREA HISTORY
HOW IDENTITY POLITICS WARD RE MAPPING DESTROYED THE COMMUNITIES WITHIN

That finger of Chicago’s border on its south side extending from 51st to 65th streets 4 miles further beyond Cicero Avenue to Harlem Avenue has a very interesting history. Post WWII during the 1950’s and 60’s the area mushroomed into dozens of single dwelling subdivions where thousands of of five and more room single 1 family units were built. After a struggle by residents including this writer the area managed to get the area remapped into one ward (23rd) and only one alderman needed to respond to their needs. Today the area has four alderman including the 12th, 13th, and 14th who’s wards are spread miles apart and the reason is political because the area was conservative The same rules apply to state and congressional districts
. http://www.theusmat.com/mdwbea.htm

COULD THIS BE WHY CHICAGOANS ARE SEEING RATS ?
The city of Chicago is composed of 50 wards which average out to around 72 precincts of about 350 or more voters in each precinct. Many are former villages incorporated into the city as the city grew. . A Chicago Alderman is in effect a mini mayor. They have input into who gets city services and now it’s how those services are being administered seem to be running into who’s ward is it ?.

What’s not being looked at is how Chicago wards have been redistricted. Chicago has had neighborhoods divided to create “Hispanic”residential sections going to Hispanic aldermanic and congressional (Gutierez) candidates and blacks going to black candidates.Which apparently is the result of the turnover in the Freddie and Fanny mortgage collapse. As stable integrated areas changed into being unstable because of constant dwelling turnover.had the effect of breaking up a contiguous geographic continuity and community identity. Because the wards affected which are really like small towns have had sections broken up into areas where if a problem arises in a given section of street which has one way traffic only. It may be two way a block down because it’s in a different ward. The same applies to all other city services including zoning where serving socialist ideologic political purposes single dwelling units are removed and replaced by multiple high rise apartments complcating city services such as sanitation where garbage collection routes are organized by ward boundaries. Which disrupts living style where that is permitted to happen.

50 year Alderman Burke who is under federal charges for corruption ward is an example. Burke’s ward ,14th, needed remapping . The 14th was originally known as “Back of The Yards” Once the home of the famous Chicago Stock Yards where most food processors along with employee demographics have since relocated. It was a compact area almost 15 plus city blocks square area composed mostly of single and 2 story frame and brick family dwellings mixed with scattered brick apartment units. Because of the construction, insurance rates varied and became known as the condemned as “redlining”. When the democrats also warily supported by the Bush 2 administration came up with the no 20% down mortgage removed. Areas in the ward dramatically changed in demographics. Many of those dwellings sold under those conditions went into disrepair or default.

Originally his ward headquarters and palace was on 51st street just west of Damen Avenue. Today’s palace is just off of Pulaski Road near the Madam Curie high school just off of Archer Avenue miles away.

His ward now consists of areas carved from parts of the 12th (known as Mc Kinley Park and Brighton Park) and parts of the 23rd (known as Archer Heights Garfield Ridge and Clearing) wards Miles from the original 14th That In a former section of the 23rd ward now the 14th ward in the Midway airport area, 2 patrons in a local bar along Archer avenue were heard complaining about rats in their garbage. They felt it was because of the delay in garbage collection. Also heard the same beef about street snow removal. It has also played hell on zoning and because of the disruption of jurisdictions with the administration of city services such as streets and sanitation which the alderman (salary $120.000 plus allocations on local projects) do oversee and have input over.

By.employing this concept of remapping are residents are being denied the representation they should have ?

Man Accused Of Raping 3-Year-Old At McDonalds Previously Arrested At Texas/Mexico Border
dfw.cbslocal.com ^ | February 28, 2020
Posted on 2/29/2020, 11:42:35 PM by lowbridge

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says a man who prosecutors allege sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl in the stall of a McDonald’s restroom located in Chicago’s North Riverside community 600 North Clark street should have been turned over to the agency last year.

Christopher Puente, 34, is charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault. Cook County prosecutors said he confessed to detectives that he’d placed the child on his lap while he was in a restroom stall, pulled off her pants, and covered her mouth when she started calling out “daddy daddy.”

The father had taken his two children to the restroom, taking his son into a stall while his daughter waited just outside in the restroom. According to prosecutors. Puente, who was in the next stall, lured the girl into his stall while her dad was preoccupied, pulled her into his lap, pulled down her pants and underwear, and sexually assaulted her.

In June 2019, ICE lodged an immigration detainer with the Chicago Police Department on Puente, who has several felony convictions and a prior removal, after he was arrested for theft.

“How many more victims must there be before lawmakers realize that sanctuary policies do not protect the innocent?” asked Robert Guadian, field office director of Chicago Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). “Puente should have been in ICE custody last year and removed to his home country. Instead, irresponsible lawmaking allowed him to walk free and prey on our most vulnerable.

Our local property tax appraisal district has said they will not adjust the property appraisals down due to the Wuhan virus crisis, considering it temporary ... so your 10% annual appreciation used to calculate the property tax bill stays.
