Appalling video shows the moment a woman drove her minivan over the gravestones of military veterans as she tried to avoid a traffic jam inside Houston National Cemetery. The woman was one of dozens of people who flocked to the cemetery on Sunday to watch a flyover from the Lone Star Flight Museum commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE Day - the end of World War II in Europe. As people began to leave after the flyover concluded, the woman got impatient and sought to bypass other cars by driving over the grass. 'I was shocked, and never would have expected that to happen,' Jeremiah Johnston, the man who filmed the video, told KTRK.

Can you describe the woman, sir?
Oh, they’re the flat kind of headstones. YAWN.
Go to OLD cemetraries, and you know you’re driving right on top of people.
Haven’t been to Arlington, but one of my more memorable cemetary visits was to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetary. The headstones are so small and the “drive” is more of a path. The office up front hands out a map so you can find the famous people like Washington Irving.
Huh? I wondered what all those bumps were...
In Houston, probably a Margaretta
What a pathetic disrespectful oaf.
I was working in the Hudson Valley about 10 years ago and decided to stop by Sleepy Hollow primarily out of my interest in Washington Irving. I had no idea how many high profile people were buried there. Indeed, it was a reminder that no matter what directions our lives take, our mortality remains the ultimate leveler of things. I personally found it curious to see great industrialists like Andrew Carnegie, William Rockefeller and Walter Chrysler buried in the same piece of ground as big labor leader Samuel Gompers.
Looks like Houston is up & running again.
I got a Dollar that says the woman was not born in Texas.
Sounds like a Karen. I hate Karens
She did not want to wait out a funeral procession for a female PD officer killed in a domestic.
Reports were that she was kicking and screaming as officers took her down after a short chase.
Old hippie from another state.
