I think that intentionally breeding hairless or partially-hairless cats is wrong. For one thing, in order to fix the trait to any extent in a breeding population, the animals have to be horribly inbred.

And the same with hairless dogs, dogs so tiny that they develop more health problems,etc. A handler at a dog show told me that the modern English Bulldog puppy has a head too big to be delivered naturally and births have to be by C-section! That is terrible for the dogs - just to get a “look”!
