We learned that in Minnesota the National Guard, State Police, and the local Police turned and ran and left the citizens to defend for themselves. So I have a couple of questions for our “Protect and Serve” authorities. (Vanity)

1. What determines the point at which you will turn and run and abandon the citizens you have sworn to protect and serve?

2. Can you draft a policy which gives the citizens a clear understanding of when you will turn and run? This is vital to the community because they need as much notice as possible to arm, organize, and deploy to have a chance to overcome the threat.

3. Hypothetically, suppose a crowd of thousands of thugs approaches a community and you turn and run and abandon your citizens. The next day, thousands of bodies of thugs are stacked like cord wood. Since you chose to abandon your positions, are you now obligated not to investigate, and arrest and prosecute the citizens who defended their homes and lives when you wouldn’t?

The governor, mayor, and police chief all came to the microphone with platitudes and nothing but cowardice.

They claimed to be in charge but did NOTHING and used no resources at their disposal to protect the people and their property.

Typical democrats: Cowards.

This is not about George Floyd. This is about inept government, no matter your political views.

Here is the pyramid of blame/responsibility in Minneapolis!
Plus a common sense summary by: Charlie Daniels:

1. The officers accused of the choking/killing, apparently did it.
2. The police department heads, and their Chief are responsible for the environment that lead to the officers believing this was acceptable behavior.
3. The soy boy mayor, Jacob Frey, an uber liberal progressive! Is guilty as noted below:
4. The soy boy mayor, Jacob Frey, who selected the Hispanic Chief of Police, Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo.
5. The Minneapolis Police Chief, Medaria Arradondo, After Not Giving, Cops his cops, Body Armor, Chief Medaria Arradondo, Said, The Riots were “Too Dangerous For Cops To Stop without body armor!”
6. The voters of Minneapolis. They elected the mayor, who hired the Chief of Police
7. The local mediots on tv and in news papers ignored 1-6 until the riots started.
8. This isn’t even a state issue, much less a fed/gov issue. It is a Minneapolis issue and liberalvoters’ issue. Elections can have serious consequences, life and or death.

9. The good news for Karens in Minneapolis, FR and in America, the cops and rioters are wearing masks and apparently trying to staying 6’ part during the looting and rioting.

10. Minn. soy boy mayor, Jacob Frey gives masks to crowding rioters after warning in-person worship would be a ‘public health disaster’!

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) requested on Thursday that “protesters” in the City of Lakes practice social distancing and wear masks to reduce coronavirus ...

10 a. Grandpa Dave.. forgot to mention..: masks are helping to make sure that any video surveillance footage would NOT allow rioters and looters to be identified thanks to their masks.
The Karens in America are cheering this great leadership. Masks are for everyone!

Summary by: Charlie Daniels: Until America starts electing leaders who are willing to take responsibility for their own actions and the actions of those under their command, there will never be street-level justice in America.

We live anarcho-tyranny. The state will not protect you from criminals and will imprison you for defending yourself.

4. How many hours do you need to submit your letter of resignation when you refuse to do your job?

As I recall a pawn shop owner shot a guy a couple days ago. Cops came and arrested the store owner and while they were taking him to the squad car more looters were piling into the store to loot the rest.

So basically, they will cut and run plus you are not allowed to defend your property.

Thanks thin blue line....

The riots proved one major point - if everyone left their house and opened their businesses there isn’t a damn thing the cops could do about it. They could arrest one 77 year old barber, but they could never stand up to an entire town.

The Scamdemic was all BS. Thank you to the rioters for ending it.

On the first night of rioting, the girly mayor was afraid of offending someone if he allowed the police to defend their precinct or call in full reinforcements and nip this in the bud.
After millions of dollars in free-for-all arson and looting, they’d better not dare expect a bailout.

I am sure they were given the order to retreat and abandon those businesses and people that live in the area. Day one I could cut them some slack. by day 3 they should have known what was going to happen.

I blame leadership, Walz, Frey, the police chief, ellison and other “leaders” for the failure.

If I owned one of the destroyed businesses..

I would not rebuild. the city/state clearly does NOT care about them.

As a cost cutting effort let’s disband the riot police. They come out in $5,000 of gear looking like star Troops from the Empire. Then APC’s from Seal Team are driven to the area. Great for recruiting posters. Then they do not arrest one rioters, do not protect one store. They are useless. Disband and save the money.

There have been numerous court seeking redress when police departments failed to protect citizens and the courts ruled that protection of citizens is not a constitutional duty of government employees. Consider these two Supreme Court Decisions:

In the 1989 landmark case of DeShaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services, the U.S. Supreme Court held that the failure by government workers to protect someone (even 4-year-old Joshua DeShaney) from physical violence or harm from another person (his father) did not breach any substantive constitutional duty.[3]

A more recent case was specific to police responsibilities:

On June 27, 2005, in Castle Rock v. Gonzales, the U.S. Supreme Court again ruled that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm.[8]

These two USSC decisions alone should firmly convince any sane American that Second Amendment rights are a matter of self preservation.

What happened to all that he-man military equipment the police departments got after Obama left the Middle East?

I guess no Democrat governor wanted to have the mess of quelling a riot on their resumes?

"We live anarcho-tyranny. The state will not protect you from criminals and will imprison you for defending yourself."

We do need a National Stand Your Ground law in times like this to protect the citizens from prosecution and civil lawsuits when they have to step up when the Government fails.

The police were the last bastion we had against the loss of civilization. They were the protectors of the civil order. So we believed we had a stable civilization. Events of the past few days have shown that the thin veneer that’s overlaid over barbarism and savagery, called civilization, is wearing thin. It’s gone in Minneapolis, and its loss will soon be bitterly evident in several other major cities.

The corrupt administration of the city gave them their orders, which they had to follow.

Wasn't there an incident recently where a department used one of their he man toys to enforce the lock down at a restaurant?

Anyway it's a good point. Where were all the he man toys and the he man types last night? Oh I know. THEY RAN AWAY!

Send in a battalion of Marines fully armed with freedom to act as they deem necessary and they’ll put a stop to this crap.

If they turned and ran, I would never let any of them back into that community. I’d gun them down like the punk thugs you’d have had to deal with.

Castle Rock v. Gonzales said the police have no duty to protect individuals. This is just the next logical extension of that decision.
