KLB was *pissed* when I saw her speak Friday night late. Two more nights of this BS after that, this is the 4th night, and yeah, I think the APD RoEs are substantially loosened.

Here is something that occurred on local Cali news:
Local news reporter is on camera talking with armed liqour store owners, who are protecting their business.
Looters come by, but go on their way, after noting that the owners are armed. No police in sight.
Reporter continues interview, when more looters arrive, and try to get into Gold store, next to the liquor store.
Owners tell them to leave, then looters go toward liquor store, but change their minds on seeing that they have guns, and run off.
The group protecting liquor store tries to flag down cops .
They don't stop.
Finally some cops do stop, but promptly put the black woman, who waved them down, in handcuffs, along with the group protecting their store, despite the reporter, who has been filming the whole time, telling them, that the liquor store group is protecting their business, and that there were people trying to rob the gold store running away.
The police don't listen.
After several minutes they do finally uncuff the whole group.
Then another cop comes over to the reporter and gives some gobbledegoo exclamation about guns, and seems to insinuate that the business owners shouldn't be protecting their business.
(Never mind that 5 minutes earlier, the only thing that kept the looters out of the liquor store, was that the armed owners were present. And they also prevented the gold store from being robbed.)
But, such is life in California😒.

A speech like Keisha Lance Bottoms gave could put her far above Stacy Abrams in the VP possibilities. Stacy never said anything that intelligent or that well.
Where is Governor Abrams these days? She is curiously silent during the unrest in her state.
There’s a lot less enthusiasm for these “protests” when the police are strong enough to prevent looting. Funny how much street thugs care about free stuff and how little they care about the cause they claim is bringing them to the streets.
Democrat mayor though - now in nearly every major city. And the rot spreads quickly down the roots..
I just came up with a theory about the end to this violence and the Covid-19 lockups by the Democrats.
A key gating factor is the Universities. I live in Athens, GA where the University of Georgia is still largely locked down from the public.
Will University students (and parents) pay for another year of university life if there’s no football, no frat/sorority life, no drinking/social life, and no classroom instruction — just tele-education?
I think not. If you did that, 50% or more of the students would skip a University year in 2020/2021.
And to lose 50% of tuition and room/board would absolutely crush universities. Many of the professors would have to be laid off, putting further pressure on destroying the unholy alliance between academics and Leftist indoctrination.
This would put massive pressure on governors of State universities and in States where a lot of private colleges operate.
So the powers-that-be of the Deep State, DemocRATS, Academia, Hollywood, and MSM cannot allow this to happen.
So my theory is: all COVID-19 pandemic and anarchist-funded and Leftist-supported city violence must end by August 1st to create the comfort zone for students to return to the Universities.
In fact, regardless, I guess lots of students will “skip a year” — then never return to University life.

Well, there is merit to your theory. However, remember this: There are a lot of moving parts and lots of players in this. These folk are only one small slice of Deep State.
Others may have other priorities.
LOL!!! Unfortunately, the demonstration of force in Atlanta was not matched by a similar demonstration in Raleigh, Where is the police chief essentially put up a sign that said “Welcome terrorists. Come burn our buildings down.”

She actually said it was not her police’s job to protect storefront businesses or to put themselves in harm’s way.
