The Justice Department is prosecuting the legendary lobbyist Jack Abramoff on felony conspiracy charges. Again.
More than 14 years after he pleaded guilty in the biggest Washington lobbying scandal in a generation, Abramoff has agreed to enter guilty pleas on charges of criminal conspiracy and failing to register as a lobbyist for his role in two separate schemes, according to the Justice Department.

But he didn’t entirely leave the influence industry. In 2016, he was recruited by a Romanian consultant to help set up a meeting between President-elect Donald Trump and Denis Sassou-Nguesso, the president of the Republic of Congo. (The effort failed, but Abramoff did help set up a phone call between Sassou-Nguesso and Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) that led to a meeting in Congo.)

Congress toughened lobbying disclosure laws in 2007 after Abramoff went to prison. It passed another law last year — titled the JACK Act, in a reference to Abramoff — forcing lobbyists convicted of bribery, embezzlement and other white-collar crimes to disclose them on lobbying paperwork. Abramoff would have had to do so if he’d registered again as a lobbyist.

No one “should think simply because Jack Abramoff is in a class by himself, this is a one-time shot,” Spulak wrote in an email to POLITICO. “There will be more.”

Meanwhile Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton are free as birds. With no worries, cares or concerns about having to face justice for violating every law known to man and some that are not. Ditto Comey and Wray, etal. Plus the ongoing coup to remove President Trump from Office. We do not even have a Stalin Soviet style of justice. Theirs were more fair and less corrupt.
I have noticed a whole lot of corruption charges in the last few weeks; LA, San Fran, Chicago, etc. I hadn’t really noticed them before this. Is anybody thinking this is unusual?

Not being in an orange jumpsuit yet doesn't mean she's not worried. In fact, if you're recall, she shrieked that she and others would hang if Trump was elected.
Covid-19 is being fanned into panic in order to justify the shut downs of courts in D.C. For example, it was either Clapper or Brennan who smirked that they would happy to testify as required, as soon as a vaccine is available.
Hillary has been fighting testifying and the court shut down has delayed, but not ended her requirement to testify.
The shutdown needs to end ASAP to get Hillary and others into court. The ones that let her go when she was in court the last time were deep staters with help from deep state FBI. Things have changed.

Comey, Strzok, Page, Boente, Weissman, Rosenweasel??? Oh it would be politicizing a prosecution by charging them with an illegal politically motivated witch hunt.
For the earlier scandals Abramoff was in cahoots with Ralph Reed, formerly of the Christian Coalition, and everybody’s favorite neoconartist: Grover Norquist.
It’s COVID. No one is meeting face to face. It’s all done over the wires. It’s much easier to get all of this recorded and then bring them down on Federal Wire and Conspiracy laws.
And they said nothing good can come of this.
