Flubros and Flubras! Day 140 ( a place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

Coronavirus deaths are dropping nationally. It’s all about applying the pressure to politicians now. They often don’t change policies instantly - pressure on them now to end the lockdowns will pay off down the road.

-

Great to see recreational basketball and baseball ramping up where I live in the suburbs of Houston. Swimming, football and water polo are still not competing. Are youth sports competing where you are or are they still too shut down?

-

I know it is not a principled stand that I am taking by doing this but wearing a mask and just keeping it below the nose is tolerable. I breathe through my nose anyway and I have only had one person tell me my mask was on wrong so far (I 100% ignored what that person said). This technique is good enough to get me into church, kids’ sports, and the very rare shopping that I do.

Ahhhh, the dreaded “code 20”.

I get hit with a code 7 whenever I buy beer at Food City. Apparently, that’s their code for “I’m not old enough to ring up beer, but I can touch it once it’s rung up”. :)

I have a system that has worked perfectly. I wear a tube style thing I can pull and down easily. I walk with it up and the minute no one is close to me I pull it down. If I encounter someone I pull it up until they pass unless they are doing the same thing in which case we smile at each other and keep going.

But then, I’m not sick so I can’t spread, even if I’m asymptomatic.

For anyone who say that masks work and to look to Japan:

Japan’s COVID cases have been trending upwards since late June-early July.

Same with the state of Washington. Washington’s Governor put a mandatory mask order into effect on June 26. Cases here are still trending upwards.

please do ask your cousin about the JAMA internal medicine study that showed that
Many individuals with SARS-CoV-2 infection remained asymptomatic for a prolonged period, and viral load was similar to that in symptomatic patients; therefore, isolation of infected persons should be performed regardless of symptoms.

The Ct values for the envelope (env) gene from lower respiratory tract specimens showed that viral loads in asymptomatic patients from diagnosis to discharge tended to decrease more slowly in the time interaction trend than those in symptomatic (including presymptomatic) patients (β = −0.065 [SE, 0.023]; P = .005).
and in particular - Zou L, Ruan F, Huang M, et al. SARS-CoV-2 viral load in upper respiratory specimens of infected patients. N Engl J Med. 2020;382(12):1177-1179. doi:10.1056/NEJMc2001737 PubMed

both are hearsay and little better than rumor. There is zero evidence for either of those statements. Let’s look at the verifiable facts - 5 million cases and 164K deaths

I don’t trust pharma companies. I do however know that vaccines do help reduce and in many cases prevent other diseases such as polio etc.

My wife just bought a couple of those things. 92% polyester and 8% spandex.

I emailed them and asked if any protection from COVID.

Response: Our Cooling masks have no medical value...

My wife doesn’t care (Finally !) It’s about how it looks...she’s way Irish.

I don’t know if that is true or not. Here is a good article about the vaccine. It looks like the cdc was using it’s old tricks way back then as well. They were reclassifying polio so it looked like it disappeared overnight. With the improvement of sanitation, I would guess like indoor bathrooms, and getting rid of some chemicals like ddt, and RECLASSIFYING polio symptoms, everyone was lulled into a vaccines are good. mind set, and it’s almost impossible just to even get folks to demand that vaccines, at the very least, must be safe.

http://theawarenessrevolution.com/polio-vaccine-myth/

As for the numbers you keep talking about, one graph you posted is by the cdc. Again, if you watch the doc vaxxed, the cdc manipulates data. Look at that polio info on this thread. The white paper you posted had a disclaimer at the bottom that one of the Dr. got money from “The World Health Org”. and Pfizer. This may, or may not, call into question the entire paper, I don’t know, but since i already don’t trust either organizations, it’s a no from me.

I’m going to assume your intentions are honest, so please do more research. Did you watch the video I posted of the Joe Rogan podcast? Vaxxed can be found on Bitchute. Vaxxed 2 can be found, but people try very hard to ensure you don’t see the content. It usually stays up for only a couple of days at a time. Also, the article I linked about the polio vaccine. There are front line Dr. and nurses who are being shut down, from telling the truth. Why? It may take us awhile to understand the why, but in the meanwhile, most of us won’t believe any numbers they put forth.

Any proof for your statement?

Take your pick...just type "What is the actual infection rate for Covid 19?" into a search engine.

CDC says COVID-19 cases in U.S. may be 10 times higher than reported

Here's one that addresses the heart of the question:

Our study took a different approach. We looked at records of doctors visits with patients that had flu-like symptoms but not the flu. By accounting for the number of people who would only have mild symptoms of COVID-19 and would not go to the doctors, we estimate that during the last three weeks of March over 8.7 million Americans were infected with SARS-CoV-2. During the same three week period, official case counts recorded just over 100,000 new infections within the U.S.

Putting this all together, it's now clear that there have been many more infections than confirmed cases, likely by a factor of 20 or more.

Researchers have now shown that the total number of infections is likely much larger than the number of diagnosed cases.

None of this is complicated. The first question of statistics is, "What's being measured? What does the statistic mean?"

I've followed your posts, you're an intelligent guy. In this case, why the need to mislead?

After you do that you have to multiply the result by 100 to get the percentage.

In England:

a significant proportion of the daily out-of-hospital death toll relates to patients who recovered from the virus weeks or months earlier. Under the previous system, anyone who has ever tested positive for the virus in England was automatically counted as a coronavirus death when they died, even if the death was from a car accident.

I wonder if we are doing this in the USA? I do believe that paying hospitals a substantial amount greater when a Medicaid patient dies “from” Coronavirus than from something else is an incentive to list c-virus as the cause of death.
