I don't think they know how it happened. I don't think its gas and oddly it didnt effect the houses around it even though they are close.

Might have been an Atifa arms depot.

It was an awfully finding of cause. Also, I would think that the term ‘massive explosion’ might need to be set aside for a while after that Beirut blast.

NG is heavier than air and settles at the lowest point, being the basement.

Some homes can actually be connected through the cracks in the soil to leak NG to other basements.

In a basement blast, the force goes up, not out to the side.

I remember W’s people telling us minutes aftwerwards that the NYC plane crash in November 2001 was an “accident”.

When it was actually 19 "lone wolves" working together.

if it accumulated in a basement or crawl space and then somehow ignited it is easy to see how only 1 or 2 homes were destroyed as it was directly below them

I missed hearing about that one.

I watch on TV the ones that crashed into the twin towers on 09-11-2001

Wow. Only one death. This must be a working class town. Thank God.

That being said, I’ll never have gas, apart from my own, in my house.

Worked on a fishing boat many years ago. The boss was super paranoid about LP. Only turned the bottles on when cooking. Turned them off as soon as we finished. Same reason. LP settles in the bilge. One spark and there goes the bottom of the boat.

This happened a few years ago in Lincoln NE. A guy trying to kill his ex-wife, turned on all the gas in the house. Apparently, the plan was to lure her over to the house and have it explode when she came in. Well, it did.

It blew her across the street and she died sometime later as did he. The house looked a lot like this scene. Completely obliterated.
