Just wondering out loud. Do you think that President Trump will have enough "coat tails" to help the GOP flip 20 house seats?
If he can, then a lot of this impeachment BS goes away, at least for a couple of years.
I think we will get House, Senate and White House. I’m an optimist. Trump will have coattails and Biden will have nothing at all.

The only reason the House flipped was because 40 Republican Representatives (on whom Obama probably had a lot of dirt), announced their retirements during the campaign season. The respective State Republican parties did not have enough time to field a new candidate.
Out of 40 retirees, we only lost 38 seats. Think about it.
I’m sure they will be ready this year and that most of them will be restored, and probably a few more. The American public has pretty much had it with this obnoxious drive toward socialism and we reject it. I think we’ll probably flip a few more Senate seats as well.

I hope I am wrong but with mail in voting and ballot harvesting we will be lucky not to lose seats in the House or Senate. If we had fair elections then the Republicans would regain the House. I think the whole Covid-19 pandemic was an excuse for mail in ballots and to steal the election.

It is possible that the Democrats are going to abandon Biden and Harris but aim to hang onto the House and flip the Senate. If they succeed, Trump is effectively stymied and new impeachment charges will be tried in 2021. They will focus their dirty tricks on the downballot races.

We would pick up a dozen in Cali, if not for ballot harvesting. Which is illegal IMHO.

To me it looks like they’re moving to different battlefields.
They are moving to civil disorder battlefield - vote for us or we’ll burn your city down.
They are also moving on the Vote fraud battlefield. The Democrats are preparing to swamp swing states with fraudulent mail-in ballots, while the ACLU is arguing that ballots must be counted even the signatures on the ballots don’t match the signatures on record.
I would say if mail in voting is allowed, that state will go for Biden.

Great reminder. In normal circumstances the coming Trump psunami would retake those 40 and maybe 20 more considering the D’s offensive anti-law and order stance.
D’s ballot harvesting and theft during the after count, will reclaim some of those (despite attempts to stop it)

No. I have looked at the electoral map carefully over the last couple of months looking for pick up opportunities in both the House and the Senate. The House is simply out of reach this year. We are all but certain to pick up a seat in the Senate in Alabama that we lost because we nominated a wingnut and pervert a couple years ago. But with at least 5 senate seats in danger it’s going to be very close whether we can hold the Senate or not.
