Pittsburgh-based Conservative radio host Wendy Bell was taken off the air Friday after comments she made about shooting protestors back in June resurfaced this week.
“Entercom is the home to thousands of voices representing Americans of all races, ethnicities, gender identity, sexual orientation, beliefs and ability,” a statement from Entercom Pittsburgh Senior Vice President Michael Spacciapolli read. Entercom is the parent company of radio station KDKA which aired Bell’s show.
“We take very seriously our responsibility to provide a platform for our communities to engage in diverse and meaningful dialogue, debate and the right to freedom of speech, we do not condone the incitement of violence on any of our platforms. Members of our community have recently brought to our attention comments made by Wendy Bell that do not align with Entercom’s values. Wendy has been taken off air until further notice. Entercom Pittsburgh remains steadfast in our commitment to inclusive conversations that engage everyone in Pittsburgh while excluding any form of violence.”
According to the Pittsburgh City Paper, Bell advocated that park rangers shoot protestors” during a June 26 episode of her radio show.
“My easy solution for the park rangers and hopefully snipers who are hopefully going to be watching for this, is to shoot on sight. [Shooting noise] Shoot. Done,” Bell said during the episode. “No more messing with monuments. You wanna mess with a monument? Done.”

As far as looters are concerned there used to be a “looters will be shot” order. You’ll think twice about burning and looting if you are a target.

Really? Those commies aren’t protesters. They’re rioters. Police should use bird shot skipshots from shotguns to stop riots.
Don’t use the terms of communist/fascist linguistic activists. To do so is to fall into one of their traps.
If by “birdshot” you mean OO buck, and by “skipshot” you mean “aim center mass,” I agree completely.

If I recall correctly, Bell wiggled out of the Wilkinsburg kerfuffle by claiming reverse discrimination. She claimed that a black person would not have been fired for making the same comments she had made. Bell was right, by the way.
I’m sure Bell’s solid pro-Trump stance has offended her employers. So she will not wiggle out of this one as easily.
She should have said, “Looters should be shot” instead of merely “Protestors should be shot.”
Good for her.
Sorry she had to lose out, though.

Man Who Accidentally Listened To Wendy Bell Show Suing KDKA Radio Over Lost Brain Cells
A man who was passing through Pittsburgh is suing KDKA radio for damages due to a decline in his cognitive abilities after inadvertantly hearing one of their programmes earlier this week. He claims he was flipping through stations when the radio malfunctioned and couldn’t be changed or turned off.

She is saying what many want to say. But read the headline. Notice she did not use the world “Protesters”. That is the lie and the propaganda. No one with half lick of common sense would call them protesters.
