Taco Bell is unveiling a buzzy new menu item. To toast the relaunch of the toasted cheesy chalupa, a fan favorite, the fast-food chain is releasing a Pinot Noir to pair it with, the Bell's first exclusive house wine and first wine partnership. The limited-edition bottling from Queenston Mile Vineyard, in Canada's Niagara-on-the-Lake region...
The pairing may not seem obvious. But when talks of a Taco Bell wine started, Queenston president Andrew Howard saw an opportunity to challenge the perception some have of wine as pretentious and inaccessible. "We intended this to be limited-edition, but given the coverage and the interest, we're very open to acquiring more wine if we can."

Taco bell wine? Hmmm. I remember Long John Silvers had keg beer by the pitchers...
Taco Bell seems more like a Ripple kinda place.
Great. As an Uber driver, from time to time a passenger has asked me to take him/her to Taco Bell. I don’t like doing it, because the drive-through lane is always very slow, due to mistakes the workers make in the orders; Taco Bell is NOT fast food. Most of the time when this happens, my passengers are drunk. Offering wine with the meals will make that situation worse.
I lived in SoCal back in the early 70’s and Taco Bell sold a Bell Burger which was simply taco fixin’s on a bun. 69 cents each IIRC.
The now-gone Mickey D’s in the McDonalds building in Oakbrook Il sold beer and wine.
Not to worry yet, if you are south of the 49th parallel north.
What was that Sylvester Stallone movie, set in the future, where Taco Bell is a fancy, five-star restaurant?
I remember when the burrito supreme came wrapped in foil and was twice the size.
Demolition Man?
LoL Stallone is before my time. But let me know when you find out.
Is that the one where he ate ratburger?
Yes.
I worked at TB for a summer in the mid 60s. Yes, we had a Bell Burger, two burritos, red and green, tacos, a tostada and a cup of frijoles. Everything on the menu was 19¢. You could fill up with four burritos and a Pepsi (no Coke!) for a buck.
Ya know i have never once eaten a Taco Bell product.
I always wondered if at least the basic taco was any good...say at least 5 of them down into my belly.
there is a TB right down the street i should try it some time....
More like a Mountain Dew kind of place.
Seems like I've been here before...
