We celebrated my parents’ 60th in 2017 with a small, visit-them-at-home party.
Both of our parents made to their 60th year, but my dad and my wife’s mom died just short of their respective 60th anniversaries. My mom (103) and her dad (92) are still with us and we stay in constant contact with them. Mrs. Crusher and I are in our 40th year, and both daughters stay in close touch. It is unusual for us to not speak to one or the other every few days.
