@replouiegohmert

To @realDonaldTrump & @FLOTUS: I’m so sorry that you have the Chinese Virus. May God bless you through this time. Your WH doctor's advice to me on an HCQ regimen helped immensely. I felt better after the virus than before I had it & pray the same for you!

An HCQ regimen has led Uganda to be the most Kung Flu resistant nation in Africa, if not the world.

Maybe too soon to rule out hydroxychloroquine; tricking the immune system

In a series of randomized controlled trials, the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine did not show a statistically significant impact on the prevention or treatment of COVID-19. But when data from five of those trials were combined, researchers found that early use of the drug by people who were not hospitalized yielded a statistically significant 24% reduction in risk of infection, hospitalization or death. “The meta-analysis pools together the studies and increases statistical power,” said Dr. Joseph Ladapo of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, coauthor of a report posted on Wednesday on medRxiv ahead of peer review. But a weakness of the meta-analysis, Ladapo acknowledged, is that infections, hospitalizations and deaths were grouped together into a “composite outcome.” Combining all those events into one big number makes it more likely researchers will find that treatment had a significant effect. Coauthor Dr. Harvey Risch of the Yale School of Public Health noted that seven nonrandomized controlled trials have also shown “statistically significant reduced risks with early outpatient use of hydroxychloroquine.” Along with the meta-analysis, he told Reuters, “This is extremely strong evidence of benefit.” (https://bit.ly/2SlHEeE)

Trump not on it.

There is likely some medical reason specific to Trump as to why he isnt on it versus the idea that it just doesnt work as some here claim

But then again, some things work for some people and some dont

Trump had been on it as a prophylactic with no reported problem. Not sure what medical reason there would be for him to eschew it now.

We so not know that President has not been taking HQC right along, and is even now including it in the regimen. For political reasons, its use may not even be revealed at this time.

HQC is what is known as an ionophore. It does not directly stop the COVID-19 Wuhan virus, but in the presence of zinc ion, it opens us a breach in the exterior wall of the virus and allows the zinc ion to be absorbed, which stops the virus from replicating, and thus, halts the infection in its tracks.

Hydroxychloroquine does not have the same harmful effects on the heart and other organs as the near-similar drug chloroquine (also an anti-malarial medication)

No clue. Maybe something developed. Or maybe he is on it but has not authorized his Dr to release that info.

Whatever the case, official word is a denial that he is taking it.

Why isnt the president taking it? I assume he stopped takimg it as a prophylactic.. why?

Why is he taking “experimental” antibodies from people pissibly wanting to deflect their involvement/financial gains/political benefits/dreams for a power grab?
