After hearing Fred clear his throat 571,576,751 times during his speech at the RNC convention I don’t think he would be a good idea for anybody.

Right now I’m softly supporting Jim DeMint. Things could change.

Yea, you’re right, we need somebody like Obama.

As a Fredhead, I was disappointed at his torpid approach to the campaign. He won't be our candidate in 2012; for one thing, he'll be too damned old, and his health is not the best. The good news: We have more depth to our bench than we think we do. Palin, DeMint, Jindal, Cantor... Compare to the DemocRats' sorry situation. If Obama continues at his current pace, he'll be a non-starter for re-election. Who then? That clown Biden? Hollerin' Howard Dean? John Edwards? (just kidding) ...really, their bench is quite thin. Obama is increasingly looking like a flash in the pan.

Our challenge is to knock the golden-tongued RINOs out of the primary race early. Romney and Huckabee, for example. There is a place for these gentlemen, just not behind the Oval Office desk.
