Last night's recall elections, the first two in the history of Colorado, were hugely successful in driving two democratic state senators from office. John Morse and Angela Giron, were both recalled yesterday, in which the nation looked on as a referendum for gun control. Giron's loss was somewhat unexpected, since democrats outnumber republicans in that district, by a whopping 47% to 23%.

Since the recall petitions went out, the elections have been seen of national importance for both sides. Gun control has always been a national issue that have led to certain defeat on election day, but forces within the democratic gun control lobby, insisted that the tide had turned. It was the biggest surprise since the Little Big Horn.

Wonderment at the feet of Democrats trying to figure out how a Democrat could be recalled. It doesn’t matter to them that so so many of their comrades get so power-mad and drunk on it they become so consumed by the sheer power of it, they go off the deep end completely. It is the Democrat Way.

Congratulations Colorado!

Here in New Jersey, us Bang List types fought back as best we could, and got Chris Christie to veto some particularly bad bills. Alas, he signed a few bad ones, but the worst were defeated and we’ll take our Garden State victories, small or large, whenever we can.

So the Colorado victory is heartening. Way to go, Second Amendment Activists. Special thanks to NRA.

Now if they could just be tried and executed for promoting gun control legislation it might keep anti-gunners form moving forward in the future.
