Sen. John McCain says Sarah Palin "still has a strong base of support" if she decides to seek the Republicans' 2016 presidential nomination.

"I think that she ought to do whatever she feels that she would like to do. And I'm very supportive of anything that she does," the Arizona Republican said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" -- adding that he plans to support South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, though, if he runs in 2016.

Palin was panned last week after delivering an unusual 40-minute speech at an Iowa conservative summit hosted by GOP Rep. Steve King....

And McCain, official supporter of Graham, delivers the kiss of death to Sarah. Graham should be aware that he is doomed as well.

Establishment Republicans (RINOs) vs Conservatives tho happen to be Republican.

It turns out the media and RINOs hat True Conservatives more than ANY democrat.

Fact.

John McCain (who calls true conservatives “wacko birds” and “tea party hobbits”) just wants to defend “his” pick for VP....He has no love for conservatives no matter what their stripe.

You see, having actual beliefs and honesty get in the way of “deal making”, or as the voting public calls it, “corruption”

That duplicitous old snake doesn’t “like” her now any more than he “liked” her in 2008.

He’s merely hoping that Sarah will split up the conservative part of the base so thoroughly that Jeb or Christy will be a shoo-in for the nomination. He’s so transparent. He and his friends in the press will stab her in the back as quick now as ever, and after the past seven years of daily attacks, she’s easy prey.

Sarah Palin IS an asset to the GOP. Sen. Juan McPain is a pathetic, whining egoist that deserves to be primaried out, should he run for the Senate again. McPain offers nothing good for Americans but trashing his own party members and collaborating with the enemy ‘Rats.

John will not criticize Sarah directly, Oh no, he’s too smart for that. For the dirty job of tearing down Sarah Palin, John writes the script and has his daughter, Miss Megan (hips and all) weigh in on the situation. “She’s a grown woman. Why, sorry, but I can’t control what she says, and I never could!”

Is McCain using simple reverse psychology to make Palin appear less palatable to the Tea Party crowd by extending her a GOP-E endorsement?

His verbal support is either meant as an attempt to paint himself as conservative or to tarnish Sarah’s

Emperor: The Palin must not become a candidate.
Darth McShame: If she could be turned, she would be a powerful ally.
Emperor: Yes. Yes. She would be a great asset. Can it be done?
Darth McShame: She will join us or die, my master.

I have little use for Sen. McCain, who valiantly endured real torture for his country but now sits idly by as it is destroyed from within, as long as the destroyers keep a civil tongue in their heads. But he occasionally gets something right.
