There are 100-150 million of us and maybe 10,000 hellfire missiles. A Reaper drone costs $28 million; one Hellfire missile costs about $70,000; one Paveway bomb about $20,000. The total cost of one weapons load for a Reaper – four Hellfire/ two Paveway – is at least $320,000, a third of a million dollars.

Right, but when has cost been an issue to a government that has no problem operating with $20+ trillion deficits? Especially one that will stop at nothing to keep power..

They can’t manufacture enough of them fast enough. A Hellfire missile, much less an armed drone, is not a Schwinn bicycle or a Sunbeam toaster. There are rare earth minerals and other scarce materials needed to put one together and much training is needed to get pilots up to spec. Hell, they’re short-handed now.
