Donald Trump “is appealing to a segment I’ll just label racist,” says Gary Johnson, a former two-term Republican governor of New Mexico and the 2012 Libertarian Party presidential candidate. “It exists and it’s out there."
"I don’t want to have anything to do with it,” says Johnson. “It embarrasses me. The electorate will paint the entire Republican Party with a broad brush as a result of Trump and it won’t be positive.” Johnson started the 2012 campaign as a Republican before switching to the LP and pulling 1.2 million votes and 1 percent of ballots cast in the general election, recent highs for a Libertarian candidate.
In announcing his presidential campaign in June, Trump asserted that, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.” Although he allowed that “some, I assume, are good people,” NBC and other business associates cut ties the New York-based billionaire....

Some people are desperate for attention now a days, aren’t they? I’m talking to you - Gary, whoever you are. It sure isn’t racist to want to secure our borders and protect Americans. We need to coin a phrase for these anti-American weasels.

So I guess he’s willing to forget about pretending to be a libertarian and come out as a Marxist.
Johnson is a perfect example of why the Republican Party needs be clear that it is NOT the libertarian party. (But then again, anymore, the Republican Party is not the Conservative party either)

This is a great sign that Trump is scaring the hell out of them now. They’re pulling out the racism accusations now.
Johnson was elected because Toney Anaya, the previous RAT governor, sucked so bad.
Ok we’ll build the fence/wall so it circumnavigates New Mexico.
First, the ideas that Johnson brought forth in the 2012 Libertarian candidacy run-off, did not appeal to me, because they were counter-productive. He had the on-air presence of ascension by Divine Right, which is why i voted for the other guy.
Second, as for me, I’m a Nativist, therefore, “America for Americans.” First in jobs, first in finances, first in politics.
These so-called “libertarians” always turn out to be such frauds.

This is just bunk. There is NOTHING racist about what Trump said. I don’t care what this idiot Gary Johnson says. What he is doing here is exactly what all the other yapping parasites are doing, they are attempting to convince people that if they agree with Trump they are by association racist. The fact is that the people being discussed are illegal aliens (they are not immigrants). They break in to the United States from all over the world.
Are all Democrats racists because they elected Robert Byrd and elevated him to great heights in the federal government? Of course not but using the same logic they all are.
I live in Texas and many of my friends that are Hispanic but native Americans agree with Trump. In fact, they are downright foul mouthed about illegals, especially the Mexicans.
All people in the United States of America that are here illegally need to go back to their home nation. That is not a racist statement, it is impossible to be a racist statement.
