Democrats use Donald Trump's remarks to castigate GOP

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Donald Trump's incendiary comments - and the GOP response - are proving political gold for Democrats.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid jumped on both Tuesday, first attacking Trump for his criticism of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., then pivoting to a larger target: the growing GOP presidential field and the entire Republican Party.

Reid, D-Nev., noted that while Trump's GOP White House rivals were nearly unanimous in denouncing Trump's suggestion that McCain is not really a war hero, they were more tentative in responding to his criticisms of Mexican immigrants as "criminals" and "rapists."(continued)

Now that Harry is nearly blind from his brother's assault, it seems he can't read the polls that say the majority agrees with Don Trump. But you'd think one of his 22 year old aides could've told him.

One analyst comments that Trump “appeals to a vein of the U.S. electorate that will remain a significant voting bloc for several election cycles to come: older whites.”

Whites are still a monumental 75% of the vote.

The "Latino Bund" propaganda inflates its numbers to appear as if they are a "voting bloc." Stupid pols buy into it.

When Repubs swept the 2014 midterm, Fox's Brit Hume said latino votes were not a factor anywhere....the significant vote was over-50 whites.
