Them against the rest
Bigoted, juvenile Donald Trump â with a tax plan that would increase the U.S. deficit by up to $12 trillion over 10 years â dominates national Republican presidential polls.
The billionaire boorâs competition with the rest of the field is but a proxy for a struggle of huge importance to the GOP, as well as to America.
Two Republican strains are slugging it out: Rejectionists, represented by Trump and Ted Cruz, are pitted against candidates who offer greater hope of responsibly governing an ideologically diverse country.
Voting in state primary contests, just over a month away, will start to clarify whether Republicans will march on the scorched-earth course set by Trump and Cruz.
Rejecting any path to legal status for undocumented immigrants, Trump would deport 11 million people â and, in theory, vet them on return. Itâs an impossible and impossibly divisive idea.
The only policy proposal more offensive? To ban any and all Muslims who live outside the United States from stepping foot on American soil, either as visitors or immigrants.
And now, in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and elsewhere, Cruz is surging as a right-wing absolutist....

Ideologically diverse country?
>>Ideologically diverse country? <<
Capitulation to the left.
Does anyone remember what the media said about the Reagan tax plan, with regards to the deficit?
I seem to recall similar dire warnings. But I honestly do not remember.
What else do you expect from a lefty rag?
The real “lump” is that gaggle of RINO GOPe puppet losers.
Why doesn’t the New York Daily News come out and tell us how they REALLY feel, about The Donald and Cruz Control?
None of this shilly-shallying around, let’s get a little HATE pumped up here! Rally ‘round, boys, take those reactionaries out once and for all, hesitation and malingering will be subject to execution upon capture! < /sarcasm >
Yep. They ignore the fact that lower taxes stimulate the economy. Revenues doubled under Reagan despite (or because of) lower tax rates. Unfortunately spending tripled.
It the citizens against The Cheap Labor Express
We MUST win
I remember. They said EXACTLY the same thing.
Still they use the static analysis. Intentionally obtuse.
Antyone working at the hate based extreme Leftist propaganda rag NY Daily News should just shut their mouth. They have no intellectual or moral credibility to advise anyone on any issue.
The members of the NYDN need to be careful with this. If they continue squealing like the pigs they are they will risk insulting their loyal radical muslim readers ... who would kill them as infidels if given the opportunity.
The guy who has never supported Democrats gets my vote.
LOL. Just what I want. Voting advice from the New York Daily Snooze. Put aside the fact that if Christie or Paul or Huckabee or any of the others were on top, the Snooze would be making them out to be evil “rejectionists,” the editorial board never mentions how Cruz, in particular, is a “rejectionist.” What exactly did he say that they don’t agree with?
Daily Snooze never liked Trump. Just another hatchet job, except they are now tying Trump and Cruz together.
The media is really trumping up the scare stories to generate readership. Such tactics are Yellow Journalism pure and simple. Such are the words of demons going down to hell and some politicians down in the polls.
Sure, why not?
TRUMP/CRUZ: SIXTEEN YEARS RECOVERY IN AMERICA.
That's a dog whistle for more fags and fewer Christians.
The Gnu Yak Daily Gnus is a failing, flailing shell of its former self. Without a business section and with the drone beat of gun confiscation it has become an irrelevant sad sack of a red rag. Pitiful.
