You wrote: The guy who has never supported Democrats gets my vote.

So, does that mean that mean you would vote for George H Bush rather than Ronald Reagan?

Frankly that is a stupid reason to vote or not vote for a candidate. The past is past, we have a terrible problem now! Frankly I do not think Cruz or any other Republican for that matter, can withstand what is coming his way if he does win the nomination, and even worse should he win the White House; the left will definitely to that president what they did to Nixon; but I think Trump, and only Trump, might not only survive, he might even defeat them. Frankly, at this point, it does not matter if Trump is rough around the edges or not ideologically pure enough. It simply does not matter even if he was a life-long democrat, he sees the problems now and he is a fighter, the kind of brawling street fighter we need, who fights back and bears grudges!

LOL

I wondered how long it would take for a Trumpanzee to reach in the hole for the bait.

Agree totally. A campaign conservative is just not going to cut it. Cruz on.

Hilarious. They don’t have a clue. The GOP is finished if they sabotage their most popular candidate.

“...with a tax plan that would increase the U.S. deficit by up to $12 trillion over 10 years ...”
Does anyone remember what the media said about the Reagan tax plan, with regards to the deficit?

I seem to recall similar dire warnings. But I honestly do not remember. \

Same also was said when JFK lower the top rate from 90 percent, it works every time its tried.

Reagan may have been a registered democrat, but his ideology was always staunchly conservative, which is why he eventually switched to the Republican party. Trump not only was a life-long democrat, but he also supported the entire liberal agenda for the last 30 years, including sensible gun control, anti-capitalist movements, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, and even pro-amnesty. Remember, Trump even criticized Romney for being too harsh on illegals despite Romney also being pro-amnesty. Trump only changed to a more conservative tone on immigration during the last 2 years, but the rest of his policies are still extremely liberal. That is the big difference. Trump was and is a liberal so Trump is definitely no Reagan.

It boggles the mind that conservatives think it would be anything but disastrous to elect a lifelong liberal.
