CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) -- Ted Cruz will find out if his campaign stop in Wyoming last summer paid off when Republicans gather for their county caucuses Saturday to select the state's first 12 presidential delegates. The Texas senator is the only active GOP candidate to campaign in Wyoming, which will bring a total of 29 delegates to the national convention, more than any state of similar size because of its strong Republican leanings.

Saturday's county conventions are being held ahead of primaries in Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio that could shape the rest of the race. If Wyoming's delegates get behind Donald Trump, it would shore up the New York billionaire's support in the Rocky Mountain region after losing in Idaho last week....

If these caucus voters out in safe white Wyoming can look at what happened last night in Chicago and think that Ted Cruz is going to change this country, then God Bless us each and every one

I wish I could go back to the days when I had hope and actually believed ANY of these guys could make a difference. I really miss America and want to be proud of my country again. And especially with Mrs.Reagan’s passing,I remembered how good life was and the patriotism we felt everyday with President Reagan at the wheel. He respected Americans and didn’t shame our country around the world, or here at home, shame evil white Americans and punish them for being employed by sharing their income with “his people”.

He made America better and was the last President I truly respected because he earned it by respecting taxpayers- and his country.

I don’t like Cruz but worse, for some reason, I don’t trust him—just a gut feeling. And while I like Trump speaking his mind, I didn’t like him making fun of that disabled reporter-who I’m sure is a flaming Lib- but it was still wrong. And some of the arguments he gets into are just plain childish. Even if someone else goads Trump into a name-calling fest,he doesn’t need to continue it.

As many a wise parent has said:”just because he started it doesn’t mean you have to finish it”. ;)

I wish he would rise above it and take the higher road. He can still be un-PC without taking the bait and turning the argument into a discussion of his ‘manhood’ or his hairline. It is painful to listen to these cringe-inducing “debates”. And I like the guy for the most part, but it’s time to act Presidential.

I guess I just have the election blues and am wishing there was someone running who I could be consistently proud of and happy to call him ‘my candidate’.

But maybe I can’t find Mr Right in the Right-wing because my standards are too high for this day and age; maybe I just expect too much...
