The Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders presidential campaigns are weighing whether to ask for a recount in Missouri following results that found them just two-tenths of 1 percent behind Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, respectively.

Media outlets have yet to call the race due to the extremely close margins. The Missouri Secretary of State's office said that all results are unofficial until they're certified, which could take up to four weeks.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Trump leads Cruz by 0.2 percent, and the two are separated by about 1,700 votes. On the Democratic side, Clinton also leads Sanders by 0.2 percent, and they are separated by about 1,500 votes.

Stephanie Fleming, spokeswoman for the Missouri Secretary of State's office said the state still has to count military and oversees absentee ballots, as well as provisional ballots. Those military and overseas absentee ballotst have until noon on Friday to arrive to be counted.

Under Missouri law, candidates can ask for a recount if they are defeated by less than half of 1 percent....

Common sense law would encourage these two to sit down and go with the flow. The best hope we have is that Americans will win this one ...

He doesn’t have the right to see if he actually won Missouri?

Let the bargaining begin! "I've got 47 votes in Cass County, found behind a dumpster, how much if they are all Cruz? Opening bids start at $10 per." "I'll give you $12. That's what they're going for by the hundreds over in Jackson".

"Deal".

Then he loses it twice. This isn’t Rhode Island, this is Missouri, a fairly large state.

Sore Cruzerman.

He’ll have to wait until it’s certified. Looking at a month or so. By then it won’t matter.

Cruz framed his campaign as "do whatever it takes to win" in Iowa. If it were recounted in his favor, no one would believe it wasn't a dirty trick.

Cruz could regain some integrity by saving Missouri the trouble.

The key is to understand that Ted has been ordained as a “king” in the Seven Mountain Dominionist cult to take the money from non believers and to give it to poor believers. These guys are total nuts. Please study the Seven Mountain Dominion cult before you vote for “annointed King” Crux.

"Cruz framed his campaign as "do whatever it takes to win" in Iowa."

How exactly did Cruz do that?

No, that's "key" to nothing and no, I won't waste my time with this stupidity.

I support Trump at this time. Go tell someone else how it "really is".

You’re kidding, right? Cruz’s campaign workers hijacking Carson voters and the shaming letter have left a permanent impression about Cruz’s judgement.

Cruz’s campaign workers forwarding a logical inference that Carson was quitting was not a dirty trick. Since I doubt very much Cruz personally sent out the letter you mention, I don’t think it says anything about his judgment.

I’m not going to argue with you about Cruz’s judgement. I very specifically referred to the perception of his judgement.

I find it funny how Trump and his supporters can get all upset about any little thing Cruz is alleged to have done, but Trump is supposed to get a free pass on anything.
