Bernie Sanders says it would be a "terrible idea" for Democrats to recruit Vice President Joe Biden to run for president if Hillary Clinton is forced out of the race.
"I think that would be a terrible, terrible idea," Sanders said Friday in an interview with The Young Turks, a pro-Sanders online news show. "That would say to the millions of people who have supported us, that have worked with us, that would say all of your energy, all of your votes, all of your beliefs are irrelevant. We're going to bring in someone else," Sanders said.
"I happen to like Joe a lot, but I think that would be a very, very serious blunder for the Democratic Party," he added.
Biden has said often he isn't interested in running for president, citing the death of his son Beau last year as the main reason.
Clinton leads Sanders big in the Democratic presidential race, but Sanders has vowed to stay in the race until the Democratic convention this summer.
Clinton faces a potential indictment as the FBI investigates the private email server she used while serving as secretary of State. Many onlookers are speculating that the ongoing scandal could eventually force Clinton to end her campaign.

Sanders is sensing he will be disenfranchised at the Democrat Convention.

Uhm...yeah? So? All you little people are irrelevant. You should be happy that the elites will even talk to you. It’s all for your own good, you know. Nobody can expect you pedestrians to make decisions best left to your betters. So shut up and vote as you’re told.
No way the Party is going to give the nod to Sanders. While he might be polling well now, he has not come under the same amount of scrutiny because no one expects him to win.
On the other hand, if Biden walks away with it, you’re gonna have a lot of angry Dems. If would be like giving the GOP nod to Jeb! after all is said and done.
Despite the above, the only way Clinton gets indicted is if he poll numbers absolutely collapse. While they may degrade, I doubt that will happen. There is a segment of the population that will vote for her even if she if found to be eating live babies.

I LOVE IT. This is why (in CA) I re-registered No Party Preference and requested a Dem ballot to vote for Bernie: OPERATION CHAOS 2016! I know Hitlery will get the nomination, but I’m hoping to minimize Bernie-supporter turnout by maximizing how PEEVED they are. :)
The Dems plan to make Hillary the nominee, despite her lack of popularity, they better have an airtight game plan on how to deal with angry Bernie voters. Everyone knows that his backers are the ones most prone to violence and lawbreaking.

Is Biden the Democrats Romney?
No. When the choice is between responsibility, work and self-restraint versus free stuff, they will get in line and obediently vote for Hillary. Maybe unwillingly, but obediently.
About the only intelligent thing Sanders has said.

SANDERS probably was initially drafted to give HILLARY ‘competition’. He never expected the huge indoctrinated youth support. Now SANDERS wants to go for it.
