Why Bernie Sanders Might Accept Jill Stein Offer To Run On a Green Party Ticket in November
USA Supreme ^ | June 28, 2016

Posted on 07/03/2016 4:41:02 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

As the Democratic primary winds down to a close, Green Party likely nominee Dr. Jill Stein said she wanted Bernie Sanders supporters to “know that there’s a plan B here to continue to fight that revolution.”While overly presumptive Republican presidential candidates are rushing to announce potential vice presidential running mates, one presidential candidate is openly courting the idea of a bipartisan unity ticket. With the fact that Bernie Sanders has at least 43% of the democrats and 70% of the independents which is the largest voting block in the history of America and with The Green Party working hard to be on more voting ballots in November, why would Bernie decline the opportunity to be be President of the United States. The Green Party national convention is two weeks after the Democratic Party convention so if the superdelegates don’t change their mind we have a good reason to believe that Bernie would accept Jill Stein offer and run on a Green Party ticket.

With Sanders clearly not ending his campaign and with Democratic Party rigged primary process he can always try Sanders/Stein ticket.

With the likelihood of Bernie Sanders losing to Hillary Clinton increasing, the idea that Bernie would endorse Hillary has to be a painful one for many Bernie supporters.
Bernie has accused the Clinton campaign of finance law violations, suggested that she is not qualified to be President because of her judgment to align with Super-PAC’s.

We can see Individual Rights and Domestic issues views of both of them as an example but they do agree in every other political question.

Well we know that on almost every big question Individual Rights,Ideology, Domestic Issues, Economic Issues,Defense and International Issues Sanders and Stein have similar view which is one more reason to believe that Sanders/Stein would team up for November. With reports showing that the largest progressive bloc can be created and join Sanders/Stein win could be on a horizon for them.We have recently created a poll Can A Sanders/Stein Ticket Win A 3-Way Race, 97% voters answered with yes to this question we believe that Bernie supporters would love this idea. You can also give your vote in this poll in a link below this article and share this article if you believe that the revolution should go on with Sanders/Stein in November!

Wishful thinking. He’d probably love to, but really just doesn’t have the guts. He’s a toady.

This would be great and would cancel out the Libertarian vote somewhat.

If Hillary is NOT indicted and Bernie tries to run as a third party candidate, he will end up having a weight lifting accident.

I am in probable minority but I still think the D’s will find a way NOT to nominate loser Hillary the Corrupt.
They want to win, hang onto (dictatorial) power

we will see....
Bernie the Red would run a lot stronger for the D’s than Hillary.... (but maybe they can find someone even more saleable .... no, not Biden nor Fakeahaunches
someone saleable???????????)

“...Bernie Sanders has at least 43% of the democrats and 70% of the independents...”

Nonsense. Trump has the majority of the Independents.

I don't think so. Sanders is not looking at his future in the Party. He's an old man. He's crazy, but he truly believes in what he believes in. Why would he do anything to help Hillary. He's not really a Democrat. He's an independent. Crossing my fingers and praying with intention on this one!

Bernie IS a wild card — and not without justification. A few things to remember:

1. At his age, the is his last shot at being POTUS, or even VP.
2. The DNC shafted him—big time
3. In his mind, he got really close—so close, he could almost taste the nomination
4. He still has a lot of loyal followers — its hard to just walk away from that kind of adulation
5. He probably really DOES think Hillary is corrupt and that he is the better candidate
6. At his age, he has little fear of burning bridges
7. He does want a Revolution and knows Hillary won’t lead it the way he would
