It should be remembered that Romney was speaking in private to a group of campaign insiders and simply pointing out the truth (that it would be hard to win votes from the 47% of the voters who receive government money), but a Democrat spy who was working at the bar taped it.

Even Obama's infamous dismissal of people who cling to guns and religion was at a private fundraiser.

Hillary, on the other hand, said this in a campaign speech.

On CNN this morning they had a political analyst (a white woman) who said that what Hillary said was absolutely true about Trump's supporters. After letting her filibuster for several minutes they finally let a black Republican have a say.

You’d think that the media would try to ignore something like this, not spread it around to people who haven’t heard what she said!

Here in Canada I had a rather heated argument with my sisters boyfriend. He claims that he lived in the US and that cops will try to talk down any white assailant but will pepper any black suspect with bullies. He claims racism is really terrible in America.He also says because of years of oppression that black on white racism is not as terrible.

I assume that last word is "bullets."

He's basically taking the position of Black Lives Matter.

I think there are plenty of cases in which white officers have risked their lives to take black suspects into custody without injuring them. You sister's boyfriend said the word "any," so I only have to find one example where a black assailant was not shot to disprove his assertion.

Essentially he is saying his experience makes what BLM claims as credible. The idea that cops just shoot blacks I just don’t believe but then again I don’t live in the US.

Good lord but I bet he saw that claim on the CBC. I’m still pissed with this guy because I think he is dishonestly believing this claim. To believe that cops are in the business blowing away black pepole feeds into the cop hatred.
