Me and brother looked into just in case hitlery got elected.
The paperwork and required documentation was STAGGERING.
But I will start the process even though I gave up when I saw the demands.

That’s a clear infringement of your 2nd Amendment rights. New Yorkers need to start pounding on their state legislators about this.
Bad gun laws have been overturned in many states, but it takes constant pressure to do so.
Dig in for the long haul. Your kids and grandkids will thank you for it.
The MUCH BETTER chance is Trump and the repubs ENFORCE an amendment!!! It’s the 2nd amendment!!
States should have VERY little say in your owning a gun.
Neither should the feds, but it’s the only way to beat the states.
Actually, she didn’t concede till almost mid-day.
That early morning hours was podesta at 3am telling everyone to go home.
(I speculate that she had gone on a drinking binge earlier, and was zonked out...and it took till midday to sober her up)
All of the progress in gun rights (and there’s been a lot) over the last quarter century, has been made at the state level. About the only help we’ve gotten from the feds, is when Congress has resisted new anti-gun legislation from the Dems.
The Judicial branch delivered on Heller vs DC, but the Executive branch hasn’t done squat to help us. Maybe that’ll change, now that we have a president who’s a gun rights advocate.
At the end of the day, though, the state legislatures are where all the action is. Mash on those critters in Albany.

I had gone to bed by then as Pennsylvania was finally announced and pulled Trump past 270. I was a poll worker and had been up since 5:15 am that morning, so I was very tired. Elated, but exhausted.
However, I do seem to recall on the morning news the next morning, the replays of her concession were somewhat equivocal and there was an appearance announce for later in the morning which made it clear.
So your version was spot on.
