ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A Hillary Clinton supporter from Anchorage is suing Alaska's three members of the Electoral College, claiming their anticipated votes for President-elect Donald Trump next Monday will violate her constitutional rights.
Janice Park's lawsuit will be heard Thursday in federal court in Anchorage. It claims that since Clinton is winning the overall nationwide popular vote, her vote for Clinton will not be counted as a full vote since Trump will likely win the electoral college process. She claims this will deprive her of her Fifth Amendment rights of equal protection and the principal of one person, one vote....

With the Alaska Law Department in receipt of it, my guess is it won’t go anywhere. I doubt the AG is going to respond.

This is why the Founding Fathers created the Electoral College—they rightfully feared the cities would too much dominate national politics in what amounts to demagoguery.

How does she have standing? How does she have an individualized injury separate from the general political question regarding the existence of the electoral college. What relief can a court grant her to redress her injury.
Janice, you voted, right? Your vote was counted. You lost. Now you have no standing.
Preliminary hearing results in a frivolous suit. $1000 penalty to the plaintiff.
