Nashville, Tenn. President Donald Trump railed against a judge's order blocking his immigration restrictions on Wednesday, saying the ruling made America "look weak" and drew chants from supporters of "lock her up!" when he attacked his former rival.
The second version of Trump's travel ban, which would temporarily halts immigration from six primarily Muslim nations, was set to go into effect Thursday until it was stopped by a federal judge in Hawaii. The first executive order shortly after Trump took office was replaced by what the president, during his campaign-style rally in Nashville, called a "watered down" version.
"Let me tell you something: I think we ought to go back to the first one!" Trump declared to a cheering crowd.
"This ruling makes us look weak which, by the way, we no longer are," the president said of the Hawaii judge's decision.
Campaigning in Tennessee more than four months after winning the presidency, Trump continued to attack his former opponent, Hillary Clinton. While reading a legal code that the president said backed his authority to enact the travel ban, Trump interrupted himself to say that "fortunately" the former secretary of state was not in the White House.
"The law and Constitution give the president the power to suspend immigration when he deems - or she, or she. Fortunately, it will not be Hillary," he said.
Chants of "Lock her up!" reverberated through the auditorium at the mention of Clinton....

A judge in Hawaii makes the ruling while hussein obama barack just happens to be there playing golf..
Visiting my city earlier today. They loved him here in Nashville.
I followed the Twitter accounts of reporters covering Trump throughout the campaign season. This reporter was an embed who is still covering Trump. She was With Her, and while I found her feed not as bad as some of the reporters assigned to cover Trump, she was still very partisan.
It’s good that he tells the people what the law says.
Now act on it. ### the judge, like obummer did all the time.
The despots in America wear black robes.
Hey NBC, care to report anything else in his speech? Or is it just the stuff you care about?
People are chanting it because it still needs to happen!
How much stuff can the Clintons get away with that the rest of us would be serving time for if we did the same things even on a lesser level?
Why did The Clinton Foundation shut down immediately when she didn’t win the election? If it was a legitimate charity wouldn’t it keep on with it’s work ‘for the children’?
I got so sick and damn tired hearing Hillary’s ‘the rich need to pay their fair share’ of taxes. I’m more interested in the rich getting their ‘fair share’ of jail time when THEY break the law!
To conserve cash.
The bribes for influence peddling were no longer coming in, but there's close to a half-billion in the till (I say that based on the 2014 Tax forms filed by the foundation). It was being paid out for a huge staff whose work was more political than charitable. They're slowing down the outflow.
Speech was to start at 6:30pm.
It started past 7pm, to allow those to continue to enter.
We were waiting, in line, since 5pm, and never got inside, as by the time we got about 100 feet from the entrance, the speech was over.
The Auditorium sits 10,000 people, yet the hockey arena seats over 17,000, and people are screened and are able to enter, without much delay.
Nashville elected a radical, liberal Mayor (Megan Barry), and I’m sure she helped sabotaged this.
Trump needs to arrest the judge(s) and go ahead an enforce his constitutionally authorized power to regulate immigration via executive order.
Trump took an oath. He needs to keep it.
