Don’t underestimate this guy. I’ve worked with him, on a longstanding charity project. He’s a sneaky good retail politician and very dangerous. He comes off as mild and moderate, but he’s pretty far left, not as bad as some but bad enough. He would be a foreign policy disaster, like most of today’s Democrats.
He knows how to come off as Mr. Normal Nice Guy with no sharp elbows.
He can win.
I got to see President Nixon work as a tyke as my Uncle was in Bebe Rebozo’s circle in South Florida. Nixon was a much better retail politician than he’s given credit for.
Dems don’t want a “no sharp elbows” candidate, particularly against Trump. They are going to want someone as nasty as a swim through a sewer.
