The Secret Service is now looking into threats that a Democratic state senator from Missouri posted on Facebook. State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal was responding to a comment, saying she hopes President Trump gets assassinated.
She has since deleted her Facebook comment.

Chappelle-Nadal told the Kansas City Star she made the comments “out of frustration with the 'trauma and despair'” caused by Trump's remarks after the violent clashes in Charlottesville.
“The way I responded this morning was wrong,” she added. “I’m frustrated. Did I mean the statement? No. Am I frustrated? Absolutely. The president is causing damage. He’s causing hate."
Both Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and the chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party have demanded that Chappelle-Nadal resign.
In another interview, Chappelle-Nadal said she will not apologize for her statements:

“It was inappropriate, I've said that three times now,” she said. “No, when the president apologizes for what he says, I'll apologize.” After she highlighted that it was posted on her personal social media, she reiterated how she will not apologize.
Chappelle-Nadal was referring to Trump's assertion that there good people on “both sides” and how there was blame on both sides. During an abrasive press conference, he also attacked what he called the “alt-left.”
“What about the alt-left that came charging at, as you say, at the alt-right?” Trump asked. "Do they have any assemblage of guilt? What about the fact that they came charging with clubs in their hands swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do. That was a horrible, horrible day.”
WHY is she still in office?
Says she won’t resign.
This would be a GREAT ad for EVERY Conservative running next year!!
Perhps the dems letting her stay on would be even BETTER for us.
Besides, the SS is saying the situation in which it was said and blah blah blah would determine if it’s a crime.

Missouri Democrats, in a dog and pony show, are asking her to resign.
What is trump supposed to apologize for? His remarks were completely appropriate.

Sounds like a hate crime. Bus I guess hate speech does not apply when it is spewed by sub humans like this senator. I seriously have to wonder how someone like that is even able to get elected. It speaks poorly of the voters. Of course I also wonder about the sanity of republicans in Arizona who continue to send a brain doner like McCain back to Washington.
