Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in an interview broadcast Sunday that no law could have stopped the suspected shooter, Stephen Paddock, who was behind last week's mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Just because she sounds sensible for a millisecond or so doesn’t mean she is.
Her follow on statement would be “but that shouldn’t stop us from confiscating every firearm in the United States from anyone I don’t like”.
That’s the truth behind the aging corruptocrat.

She’ll be walking that statement back by Wednesday or Thursday. Recall a few weeks back, when she (logically) said, democrats may as well accept that Trump will be president at least until 2020, so you may as well try to work with him.
The audience gasped in shock. There were a few nervous giggles, so sure Diane was only being sarcastic. Two days later, she ‘clarified’ her remarks - repeatedly. In an effort to atone for her ‘sin’ of normalizing this president.
This whole “Repeal the 2nd” is hogwash.
If your gonna revisit the Bill of Rights then all are subject to repeal.
I guess it is fodder for the left to keep the rubes at bay.
These articles about Feinstein’s statement about how no law could have stopped the LV gunmen, leave out the part where she continued during the interview without missing a beat on how she wants more gun laws.
Just make guns illegal. It worked for drugs.

Just translate the part about “No law would have stopped Las Vegas gunman. Here is my translation:
It not the fault of Congress. You can’t blame us. In particular, you can’t blame me.
...Or maybe she’s had a sudden twinge of realisation that her entire political career has been standing on the dead corpses of George Moscone and Harvey Milk for almost forty years?
She is making total sense. She wants a repeal of the 2a.
No law can stop it. So revoke the 2a.
She's talking about banning bump fire stocks, something a lot of Republicans are in favor of. She's also saying that concealed carry permits issued in other states shouldn't apply to states whose laws don't allow them. That's hardly saying that she wants to take everybody's guns away.
