Sen. Lindsey Graham would like to see the White House apologize for a "disgusting" joke that was made about the health of his friend, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who is battling brain cancer.
Last week, a White House press aide, Kelly Sadler, joked to colleagues during a closed-door meeting mocked McCain’s health after he called for his Senate colleagues to reject Gina Haspel’s nomination for CIA director. “It doesn’t matter, he’s dying anyway,” Sadler said.
Graham, R-S.C., said if this was in fact a joke, "it was a terrible joke."
"I just wish somebody from the White House would tell the country that was inappropriate, that's not who we are in the Trump administration," Graham told "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan for an interview that will air Sunday on CBS....

The apology was offered to NoName’s daughter, so stay out of it, Linda. This was a leaked, private, spontaneous remark in a small group, not something stated from the Press Secretary at a podium.
Has L. Graham ever made a similar comment re Hillary, Obama, Biden?
I wish Linda Graham would apologize for calling Hitlery Rotten Clinton a national treasure.
I know how angry people are about McCain, and I have actually never trusted him or felt that he was truly a Republican. It is also worth remembering that Trump’s comments about him being captured were in response to McCain saying that Trump’s campaign was ‘bringing out the crazies’.
That said, I just think we do nothing productive by denigrating a dying man.
Even though I was an ‘old fart’ when this brevity BS started and people quit communicating in sentences and unable to spell,
EVEN I RECOGNIZED this as
“What about Sen McCain and his continuing shots at the WH etal”
“HE’S DYING”
Now I may think differently if I were a McCain ‘fan’ BUT I read this as
“We choose to not comment on any of the ridiculous ravings of a dying man. Let him go in peace” (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT).
Hacks can run around with a likeness of a severed head that ‘resembles’ the President and that is ok...
Someone (sort of) tries to be polite and they get pilloried for it.
BUT, I still think it would have been better to say nothing rather than point out the obvious.

Why don't you tell us the truth Linda? You are a "confirmed bachelor" who seems uninterested in women. What's that all about anyway. Don't you think it's past time that you came out of the closet? It's OK to play dress up like a woman, and I'm sure the world would love to see your haute couture collection.
