In the endless search for the magic key that Democrats can use to unlock the hearts of white people who vote Republican, the hot new candidate is “respect.” If only they cast off their snooty liberal elitism and show respect to people who voted for Donald Trump, Democrats can win them over and take back Congress and the White House.
The assumption is that if Democrats simply choose to deploy this powerful tool of respect, then minds will be changed and votes will follow. This belief, widespread though it may be, is stunningly naive. It ignores decades of history and everything about our current political environment. There’s almost nothing more foolish Democrats could do than follow that advice.
Before we proceed, let me be clear about what I’m not saying. I’m not saying that the desire for respect isn’t real. As a voter says in “The Great Revolt,” a new book by conservative journalist Salena Zito and Republican operative Brad Todd, “One of the things I really don’t get about the Democratic Party or the news media is the lack of respect they give to people who work hard all of their lives to get themselves out of the hole.”
Nor am I saying there aren’t some liberals who express elitist ideas, because there are.
But the mistake is to ignore where the belief in Democratic disrespect actually comes from and to assume that Democrats have it in their power to banish it....

They think the US Treasury is their personnel piggy bank and in exchange for their loyalty to other elitist Democrats the piggy bank remains open for business.

Outside of the beltway, and into various rural regions...I suspect that 10-percent to 15-percent of the working-class Democrats did vote for Trump along the way.

We love the America that helped win two world wars, many of us are veterans and stand for the pledge of allegiance, love babies, pray to God, value the 2ND Amendment, every time you try to get us to agree with stupid social agenda idea we roll our eyes with disdain (i.e. transgenderpuke, after 8 years of Obama his greatest accomplishment was no one knows which bathroom to use)...We don’t cry — WE FIGHT!!!
Democrats don’t respect those from whom they seek respect. That’s kinda the first step ain’t it? Why be burdened with understanding and respect, when they can arrogantly condemn and look down on the ignorant bitter clinger “deplorable peasants”.
And...therein lies the rub! LOL! Liberals have personality disorders... meaning they can't objectively use their brains because their senses cannot objectively process raw data. They subconsciously fill whatever data their brain processes into a preconfirmed mold that cannot change! That's why there is no talking to them, while normal people process data and reassess their mental imagery! This is while they can be intelligent and booksmart, but have zero common sense. It's also why they are most likely to be traitors to any established set of laws and norms.
Republicans have only THREE weaknesses.
1. Open borders
2. “Free” Trade
3. Unnecessary warmongering.
If it were not for those, they’d have a complete monopoly on the Federal government.
And, of course, the Dims have dozens of weaknesses which everyone already knows about.
I will never “respect” or vote for anyone supported by Hollywood, non-taxpaying welfare freeloaders, MS-13, illegal aliens, felons, Muslim terrorists, foreigners, the UN, Planned Parenthood, anti-American/Christian/Caucasian groups, Communist Party U.S.A. and little Georgie Soros.
