Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States, revealed her official platform this month. Melania’s platform for children, dubbed “Be Best,” is, according to CNN, a comprehensive program meant to focus on fighting opioid abuse, positivity on social media, and well-being.
Separating children from their parents, however, is most definitely not a “Be Best” policy, according to Ted Lieu, a Democrat currently serving as the U.S. Representative for California’s 33rd congressional district.
Mr. Lieu took to Twitter to launch an attack on the first lady, criticizing her and her husband’s administration’s immigration policies in one fell swoop....

When I was a kid my dad moved a few times for work. We went with him.
The only people separating family members are the families themselves. They’d rather rather live in the US on the social benefits than go back to their country’s of origin to be with their parent(s).
A “Be Best” policy would be to video all the sadness of illegals’ families being broken up, and having it distributed around the world via Internet and broadcasting advertising campaigns in multiple languages .
The slogan could be: “Isn’t this sad? Don’t let this happen to YOUR children. Don’t come in to the U.S.A. illegally.”
Dumb ass. Legal Immigrants were separated when they came through Ellis Island. Men were separated from their wives and children. The process for those who arrived via 2nd and 3rd class on ships was that they were separated, and made to go through a vetting procedure, both legal and medical. They didn’t call it the “Island of Tears” for nothing.
