President Donald Trump said Friday he won’t sign an immigration bill that doesn’t fund a border wall, as he told journalists a Justice Department report showed “total bias” against him and announced tariffs on China.
NO BILL WITHOUT WALL
In an interview on Fox News, Trump said he wouldn’t sign an immigration bill that doesn’t fund his proposed border wall. Votes on immigration bills are likely in the House next week, but it’s unclear whether a bill backed by GOP leaders has enough votes to pass. Trump said he wouldn’t sign the “more moderate one” crafted by House Speaker Paul Ryan.
“We have to have the wall,” Trump said. “We don’t have the wall, there’s no bill.”
A House Republican plan does fund the border wall but also curbs the administration’s policy of separating children from parents seeking asylum at the border. Trump said he hates to see the separation. The administration has said it’s following existing law. Last month, Attorney General Jeff Sessions put in place a “zero-tolerance policy” that calls for detaining adults who cross the border illegally....

I wouldn’t do that deal, if I was Trump. Border funding could always be undone by Congress, but once illegals are given amnesty, that can’t be undone.
He knows they won’t do it.
No amnesty. Green card only.
No visa lottery. No bringing in relatives. End the anchor baby loophole. It was never meant for illegals.
No more refugees either.
Border funding money gets allocated and deposited into an ‘irrevocable trust’ border account to pay wall builder contractors.
POTUS doesn’t sign the immigration bill UNTIL the $$$ been ‘spent’ and the wall IS being erected.
ERECT WALL = bill signed by POTUS.

Fraudulently documented foreigners are more important to our Congress than the citizens and the rule of law.

I believe that Ryan’s bill has something like $25 billion for border security. Isn’t that sufficient?
Ryan’s compromise bill is a massive disaster.
The Goodlatte bill is a disaster.
Let’s hope they’re just dicking Congress around on this once again. Trump is aware of leaders getting booted (Merkel next?) on the issue. Let’s just hope he hasn’t been talked into a massive amnesty giveaway as a good way to get the wall built.
We can & should respect all peoples. But we have certain duties to our own, which must not be ignored.
