Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told Fox News on Tuesday that Democratic hopefuls for 2020 feel the need to be "the most insane person" when commenting on President Donald Trump's federal court nominations.
"It seems to be that if you are running for president on the Democratic side in 2020 or thinking about it, you have to prove you are the most insane person when it comes to Trump nominees," Graham said in the interview with Fox host Martha MacCallum.
The senator added that "President Trump could nominate George Washington and they would all be up in arms."
Graham was referring to the Democratic opposition to Trump's announcement on Monday night that Brett Kavanaugh was his top pick to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Kavanaugh, a 53-year-old federal appeals court judge, has been revered in several conservative circles for his perceived loyalty to the text of the Constitution....

A regular Democrat (working-class guy) is just looking over what you describe (the traveling circus), and shaking his head. If all you get is Bernie Sanders chatter, or some wild talk by Warren/Harris, or some ‘we can do it’ hype by Hillary Clinton....then it’s all a joke.
I think the 65-million that Hillary took in 2016 is going to be the top level for the next ten to fifteen years. Come 2020...I doubt that any Democratic candidate will be able to top 60-million. If the voting polls ever get cleared out and illegal names purged....you might not clear 58-million.

Oh I think Trump is laying out breadcrumbs for President Obama to play into the campaign. If you notice...a number of black voters have wised-up that nothing much occurred in eight years, and the Obama performance was marginal.

You have a very interesting point. Regarding obama, I never capitalize this things name, as a form of disrespect, and practically never refer to him as the President. He was never worthy of the title.

George Washington would be most unacceptable to Democrats.
He strongly believed in the 2nd Amendment.
He also strongly believed that the children of foreign nationals should not be President.
Most insane person......a high bar indeed but I am confident the dims will find someone to clear it.
Graham should still be Cantorized in 2020.
He has said repeatedly that he will keep working for amnesty for illegal aliens until he is removed from office.
